Backcountry Access Tracker DTS beacon
The Backcountry Access Tracker DTS avalanche beacon can greatly reduce the amount of time spent pinpointing, probing, and digging during an avalanche rescue. For 2005, the easiest beacon to use just got easier. In 1997, the Tracker DTS revolutionized the transceiver market by introducing digital, dual antenna technology. Since then, it has become the worlds best-selling transceiver. With directional lighting and digital distance readings, the guesswork of finding buried victims is eliminated. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of BCA, the Tracker is outfitted with a new strap thats as easy to use as the beacon itself. A series of improvements make the Tracker even more bombproof than before. As proof, it now comes with a 5-year limited warranty. Practice with your beacon often to keep you and your backcountry partners as safe as possible.

Backcountry Access NTN Telemark Ski Binding
Years of engineering and industry cooperation have produced the Backcountry Access NTN (New Telemark Norm) Ski binding. These bindings work in tandem with NTN boots to give better edge control, lateral stability, touring efficiency, ski brake compatibility and step-in convenience. The NTN binding grips the ball of the foot directly, which gives you increased power over the edges, and is independent of spring tension, which means you can dial in the binding based on the snow conditions. The new attachment system also makes the flex smoother, thus eliminating rocker launch (where the boot only flexes across the toes). To get into the binding, simply step in and flip the toe throw latch down. The symmetric nature of the binding means you dont have to worry about which is left or right. Switch the binding to tour mode for a more efficient stride on the way up, then switch to ski mode to crank aggressive turns on the way down.
